Rural Student Services at the College of Rural and Community Development is looking for a Comprehensive Advisor to join their team!

 

The College of Rural and Community Development (CRCD) provides academic and vocational education and outreach that promote workforce preparation, economic development, lifelong learning, and community development through Alaska, with an emphasis on Alaska Natives and underserved communities.

 

Rural Student Services (RSS) is an academic advising department with over 35 years of experience in working with students from all over the state of Alaska. RSS helps students achieve success by linking them to current information pertinent to their education, lifestyle, and goals. RSS is known for its welcoming and friendly environment. Many students find a meaningful connection at UAF through RSS.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. Three years relevant experience required, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

 

Position Details:

 

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks, AK. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
