Join our team at KUAC Public Radio and Public Television and dive into the exciting world of public broadcasting marketing! We are seeking a dynamic individual to take charge as our Corporate Support Manager.

As part of our team, you'll engage in meaningful face-to-face interactions with potential and current clients, offering insightful analysis of their marketing needs. You'll be the driving force behind presenting effective marketing strategies, with a focus on leveraging the power of KUAC FM/TV and other Alaska public broadcasting media.

Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive marketing and sales materials showcasing the diverse range of corporate support opportunities at KUAC. From underwriting to station event sponsorships and on-air challenge grants, you'll craft compelling proposals that align with our audience's interests. Media sales experience or public broadcasting fundraising experience is preferred.

Current knowledge of effective marketing techniques and principles, familiarity with broadcast ratings and demographics, understanding of accounting and billing procedures, highly effective communications and interpersonal skills, effective time management and personal organization skills and ability to explain principles of public broadcasting underwriting strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business, public administration or relevant field and two years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of training and experience. The Corporate Support Manager requires a broad-based, theoretical knowledge of marketing strategies, business practices, and public relations.

Position Details:

This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks. This is a full-time, term-funded, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
