AERC Research and Field Technician (Temp Research Apprenticeship Program)

Knowledge of data collection procedures, data entry procedures, and computerized spreadsheets and databases.

Ability to manipulate data to produce charts and graphs to display trends in data.

Ability to interpret data results for reporting.

Ability to work in remote locations, sometimes extreme conditions.

Knowledge of field safety procedures.

Ability to perform data entry to include ArcGIS.

Perform field camp maintenance and logistical support.

Develop tables, graphs, and charts.

Maintain records.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

One year college coursework directly related to the research(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and one year of experience in a field relevant to the research (STEM); or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

 

Individual must have been accepted into the UAA Apprenticeship program to be eligible.

 

Position Details:
