General Function

In alignment with CIRI’s mission and values, the Website Manager will design, program, and troubleshoot the company’s and affiliate websites and related applications.

 

Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)

  1. Manage, monitor and update company website as well as CIRI’s partner and subsidiary websites.
  2. Collaborate across departments to identify and understand website and application development needs.
  3. Plan, execute, and facilitate website and application development projects in accordance with specifications, budget and timeline.
  4. Develop and oversee implementation of websites and applications, coordinates sites and application functionality with company’s content management system.
  5. Align CIRI’s website with the company brand, strategy and standards.
  6. Audit content regularly for errors, accuracy, consistency and functionality.
  7. Stay abreast of web technology trends, updates and best practices.
  8. Create strategies to improve user experience.
  9. Develop website content to support organizational goals and strategies.
  10. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve site and application issues; recommend and implement preventive measures to avoid future problems.
  11. Collaborate with internal IT department on security prevention and detection.
  12. Update website coding.
  13. Performs other duties as appropriate and as assigned.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Understand CIRI’s mission, values and strategic focus areas and incorporate knowledge into daily activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress contact management system, Elementor page builder, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Adobe Creative Suite, MySQL, UX design, SEO, Information architecture, mobile optimization and PPC campaigns.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff, affiliated-company employees as well as outside business associates; exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others.
  • Superior organizational, follow-up, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Work independently, as well as on a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Make decisions, solve problems and exercise excellent judgment.
  • Work well under pressure and independently prioritize workload, while working on multiple projects.
  • Ability to research, organize and analyze technical information with particular attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including thorough knowledge of proper grammar, advanced vocabulary, spelling, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and industry-standard computer software and databases.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Web Development or similar field.
  • Five or more years of progressive work experience building websites and applications. Experience with digital marketing preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check
