This position is for Fidelity Title Agency of Alaska.
The Recorder is responsible for examing and appropriately recording documents and setting up policies in the title department of our agency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Records documents in appropriate recording district.
• Reviews documents to determine accuracy and recordablity in compliance with written instructions
• Takes and gives to Disburser to release for creation
• Advises the Disburser that the file has been recorded.
• Assists Disburser to balance recording and title fees.
• Collaborates and communicates with other departments to resolve title issues.
• Provides customer service to clients
• Sets up files for Policy Typist.
• Maintains courtesy record log. Returns original document to appropriate party.
• Adheres to company policy and guidelines.
• Always maintains confidentiality.
• Work as a "team-player" with co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner.
• Seek and participate in development and training opportunities.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma
• Minimum of two (2) year administrative experience. Real estate, banking, or title field a plus.
• Customer service experience, knowledge of banking, real estate transactions, and lending a plus.
• Ability to pass a background screening.
