Our academic technical support professionals are instrumental in supporting and maintaining the specialized technology used to deliver high-quality instruction through our college's career and technical education programs.

Be prepared to use your communication, active listening, and critical thinking skills daily as you solve computer and technology-related problems faced by our faculty, staff, and students.

To thrive in this role, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess fundamental knowledge of computer technology operating in a network environment, database technologies, and web development technologies, and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical people.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in computer technology or three or more years' experience implementing computer-based technology in a network environment with direct customer relations experience.

Alaska Driver's license and REAL ID compliant ID. Must be able to pass UAF driving test to be certified to drive University vehicles and maintain a driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria.

Position Details:

This position is located on the CTC campus in Fairbanks. The successful candidate will be working in-office as well as provide technical support to faculty and staff throughout CTC's varied instructional locations. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php.
