Grant Manager, Signers' Business Office

The Signers Business Office (SBO) handles the Fiscal and Human Resources needs for the Chancellor's Office, the Provost's Office, General Studies, Student Affairs, their associated departments, Institute of Agricultural, Natural Resources Extension (IANRE) and School of Ed (Fiscal).

To thrive in this role the candidate should have the knowledge of cost benefit analysis, budget forecasting requirements and budget preparation procedures. Knowledge of contract administration. Ability to analyze fiscal information and prepare projections. Ability to synthesize fiscal and grants/contract.

Previous experience as a Fiscal Professional (2 years minimum) with substantial background in grants and contracts is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Accounting, or Business Management with substantial accounting coursework or an equivalent combination of training and experience in fiscal management, government, university, grants and contracts position is required.

Position Details:

This position is located on the UAF campus in Fairbanks, Alaska, and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is a full-time, term-funded, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php.
