*Must be willing to work nights and weekends*

 

Typical Experience:

 

• Background in outdoor recreation (rock and/or ice climbing)

• Previous experience working with and/or participating in Outdoor Adventures Programs or classes.

• Medical training

• Other documented training in outdoor recreation, leadership and safety (e.g. Swiftwater Rescue certificate, ACA training, Avalanche training, AMGA/PCIA training, NOLS courses, Leadership certificates or classes, etc.).

 

Required Education or Training:

Knowledge of and/or interest in, recreation and fitness activities.

 

Applicants must be enrolled as UAF Students taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or newly enrolled student.

Salary Information:

Starting rate is $12.03 per hour.

 

Compensation is commensurate with experience and type of work designed.
