AAC Ticket Office Seller - UAA Student Position

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong communication skills.

Basic computer knowledge.

Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Ability to work independently and under pressure. Preferred Experience & Education: Prior sales and customer service experience; ticketing sales helpful but not necessary.

Experience handling/reconciling cash and the ability to calculate money with efficiency

and accuracy. Required Experience & Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

 

To be eligible for student employment, an applicant must:

 

A. Be enrolled in the University of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters.

 

B. Have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (preference given to applicants with above a 2.5 GPA)

 

C. Student must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with UAA and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress as defined by UAA's Office of Financial Assistance (https://www.uaa.alaska.edu/students/financial-aid/).

 

D. An applicant must provide evidence of enrollment as outlined above to substantiate employment eligibility.

Salary Information:

This is a Student Assistant 2 position with a wage of $11.34 per hour.
