Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Essential Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1. Respectful, positive, and effectively work with a diverse team, the University community and the public is required.

2. Following all University policies relating to Title 9, (Sexual conduct and respect)

3. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

4. Maintenance of hourly work records

5. Observance of all safety codes

6. Ability and willingness to work outside in bad snow, wind and rain is required.

7. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

8. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Required Education or Training:

Applicant must be a University of Alaska student, enrolled and regularly attending six (6) or more credit hours and must possess a 2.0 or better cumulative grade point average).

Salary Information:

This is a Student Assistant 2 position with a minimum pay of $14.96 per hour. A valid driver's license is required.
