Regular attendance and timeliness. Preferred Experience & Education: Any combination of education and experience which clearly demonstrates the skills and abilities necessary to accomplish the essential functions of the job (see knowledge, skills, and abilities required above.)
Prior related experience or a strong interest in the trade/field.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Possess a valid driver's license, not required for Custodial Department
Ability to understand safe driving regulations and methods Required Experience & Education:
To be eligible for Facilities Services student employment, an applicant must:
Be enrolled at UAF with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or
Have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters; and
Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA, or a newly enrolled student.
Salary Information:
Starting salary $16.15/hr

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
