The Institute of Northern Engineering is recruiting for graduate students interested in a research assistantship for the academic year 2023-2024. Assignments can be on a per semester or full academic year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Have experience, or interest and capacity to learn curricular or research design and support. Have an understanding of how learning/research/creative processes works. Be able to collaborate and work in a diverse environment. Good organizational skills. Good communication skills. Preferred Experience & Education: Experience in the RA topic area required. Required Experience & Education:

Awarded Bachelor's degree and pursuing a graduate degree at UAF.

Salary Information:

This is a part-time, 12-month, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://alaska.edu/jobs/benefits.php. New hires will be placed on the https://www.alaska.edu/hr/talent/files/fy23-salary-schedules/FY23_A4_Staff-Salary-Grid_com-Hrly-bi-ann_w-desc-rpt.pdf, Grade XX, based on education and experience.

This posting is for those graduate students interested in a research assistantship with any CEM/INE research department. Can be on a per semester or full academic year basis.

 

Please attach a cover letter and resume to include your admissions acceptance letter, the date your Bachelor's degree was awarded and in what educational area, which graduate degree you are pursuing and what year of your program you will be in, any graduate assistant experience, and any undergraduate skills training you've received.

 

The assistantship does include a tuition waiver, health care coverage, and a stipend.

 

This is a pool position and does not guarantee a position is available. The pool will be closed once need is filled.
