Successful candidates will possess the ability to pay close attention to detail, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to articulate and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. As an HR Student Assistant you will need to have an understanding of handling confidential information and adhere to strict confidentiality protocol. Basic knowledge of computer operations and software applications is necessary, as is the demonstration of problem solving and decision making skills.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Applicant must be a University of Alaska student, enrolled and regularly attending six (6) or more credit hours and must possess a 2.0 or better cumulative grade point average (CGPA)

 

Preferred experience with office-based software.

Preferred experience with website management.

 

Preferred ability to work independently.

 

Position Details:

 

This is a Student Assistant 2; pay is $13.03 per hour.

 

This position is available for up to 20 hours per week, all year round, with possible additional hours available during the summer.
