Kenai Peninsula College in Soldotna, Alaska, is actively seeking an Accounts Payable and Travel Technician to join our Administrative Services team. As the Accounts Payable and Travel Technician, you play an essential part in the day to day business operations of KPC. This benefited full time position handles KPC's accounts payable, travel, and ProCard reconciliations. In this role, you will ensure all transactions are executed in accordance with established regulations and policies, provide technical support and guidance to faculty and staff and become the KPC accounts payable and travel subject matter expert.

 

To thrive in this role, you should have exceptional organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, advanced oral and written communication skills, and the drive to improve processes and create efficiencies. Also required are advanced knowledge of automated accounting systems, electronic spreadsheets, and an understanding of best practices for accounts payable and reconciliation. Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word and outlook or Gmail are needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

One year of college coursework in Accounting or related field and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Demonstrated experience using technology and software.

 

Position Details:

 

This position is located on the Kenai Peninsula College campus in Soldotna, Alaska.
