Requisition # 19000299 - Equipment Operator - Kuparuk Support Services - Wells Support Group


The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating construction and maintenance equipment including bobcats, loaders, 325 barrel vacuum trailers and 100 barrel vacuum trucks, diesel tankers, winch trucks, bed trucks, flatbed trailers, super suckers, boom trucks, pickups, trucks, tractors, and other light duty equipment to facilitate material handling to the jobsite.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED)

  • Operate construction and maintenance equipment such as bobcats, loaders, 325 barrel vacuum trailers and 100 barrel vacuum trucks, diesel tankers, winch trucks, bed trucks, flatbed trailers, super suckers, boom trucks, pickups, trucks, tractors, and other light duty equipment to facilitate material handling to the jobsite.

  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on equipment, including lubrication.

  • Prepare, update, and maintain logs, records, and equipment maintenance schedules.

  • Monitor equipment operation and identify malfunctions.

  • Inspect, adjust, and perform minor equipment repairs.

  • Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

  • Clean, store, and maintain equipment as required.

  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.

  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three (3) years related experience and training required. Experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment preferred.

 

 

CERTIFICATIONS

Class A commercial driver’s license with hazardous material endorsement and a current DOT Medical Card is required. Driving record must meet Company requirements.

Must be able to obtain NSTC Card prior to arriving to work location.

A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:

 

  • Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy. 

  • Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.                         

  • Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.

  • Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
