Requisition # 19000379 - Heavy Equipment Operator - O&M BP NS Services - Roads & Pads
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating construction and maintenance equipment in the support of roads and pads maintenance activities throughout the Prudhoe Bay oil field. Five years of specific experience with civil - dirt work activities and knowledge of heavy equipment is required for this position. Experience operating loaders, bobcats, tractors, end dumps, pickups and other light duty equipment specifically required.
Additional experience operating dozer, grader, 325 barrel vacuum trailers and 100 barrel vacuum trucks, diesel tankers, flatbed trailers is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED)
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of five (5) years related experience and training required. Three (3) years of experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment preferred.
Certifications
Class A commercial driver’s license with Tanker and Double Endorsement and a current DOT Medical Card is required.
Hazardous material endorsement preferred.
Driving record must meet Company requirements. North Slope Training Cooperative certification required.
