The University of Alaska Fairbanks Grounds Department is seeking Temporary MSW3 Grounds Maintenance Workers to support winter operations. These positions are essential in maintaining safe and accessible conditions across campus during the winter season.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

 

Duties include:

 

• Removing snow and ice from building entrances, stairs, and handicap ramps

 

• Spreading traction materials such as sand and gravel

 

• Performing general grounds maintenance tasks as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

 

Dependable and safety-focused.

 

Capable of performing physical labor throughout the workday.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

 

Position Details:

 

This is a full-time, non-exempt, temporary staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php.
