The University of Alaska Human Resources department is looking for one or two temporary office assistants (25-40 hours/week) to perform general office duties. The position is located on the UAF campus. Duties include greeting visitors, processing mail, digitizing personnel files, and handling vendor checks. We're looking for someone who's got a solid grasp of professional office practices and can handle the day-to-day operations with ease. If you're comfortable with computer basics and familiar with Microsoft Office, that's a great start. Attention to detail is key, so if you're someone who notices the little things, we'd love to hear from you. We also need someone who can juggle tasks effectively and meet deadlines with a smile. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will help you thrive in this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior work in an office setting preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Position Details:
This is a part-time or full-time, non-exempt temporary staff position located on the UAF campus in Fairbanks. Temporary employees hired at 30+ hours per week are eligible for certain https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/temp-employees/index.php. New hires will be placed on the https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/compensation/files/fy24_temp_staff_salary_grid_ANC.pdf, Grade 76.
